And Wade? My God, what a find. - FilmThreat.com

...April Wade gives a fantastic performance as the film's protagonist. ... the actress goes through a whole spectrum of emotions, which really was a joy to behold and demonstrates just how much talent she has. - FilmShaft.com

April Wade's first performance was at age 3 on her Grandma's front lawn. She was a Twinkie made out of butcher paper. As an actress and prodcuer in Los Angeles, she continues to play make believe - this time professionally. She is one of those starry eyed dreamers that works 28 hours a day. Yes, 28. She bends The Spacetime Continuum, she loves her work so much. Referring to acting as a "passion" and a "craft," Wade takes herself pretty seriously. But, don't be surprised if you see her heckling a pitcher on the Kickball field or crying hysterically during "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" in the Wizard of Oz. She just can't help herself. A lover of amusement parks, puppies and Ghost Towns, Wade finds time to produce and act in between dragging her family and friends on trips to pumpkin patches and "living history" villages. Among these projects are Contagium (Patty), Opie Gets Laid (Thai), Special Dead (May Littlejohns), Into the Arms of Strangers (Erin), Junction (Michaela, producer), April Showers (producer) and B4 (Megan, producer). And, since Wade has her hands in many cookie jars, we are likely to see many big screen and small screen things from her in the coming years. Ambitious to the core, April Wade is thrilled to be 'living the dream' in Los Angeles.

After attending Chapman University to obtain a BFA in Theatre/Film and starring in numerous projects, April Wade opened Actors Creative Workshop in Spring 2004 and owned and operated the studio until selling it in Summer 2010. Creating Women on Top Productions, April’s first major project, Junction, is a quirky independent film that was completed in January 2008 and is distributed through Celebrity Home Video and Diva.ag. It took the Audience Award at the 11th Annual Dances with Films festival in July 2008.

Punching the Clown, her second completed feature film, took the Audience Award at Slamdance 2009 as well as playing at other top-notch festivals. Her third feature was released in theatres in 2009 and remained number one on iTunes for several months and is, to this day, still the number 3 grossing film on iTunes Independent. Titled April Showers, it stars Tom Arnold and Illeana Douglas. It is a gripping drama based largely on the Columbine High School shooting, through the eyes of a real-life survivor.

Wade is currently in post-production on the feature B4, a sci-fi film, as well as developing several other feature films, a pilot and various other new media projects. She is also producing a compilation feature, Girls!Girls!Girls! with several high profile female filmmakers.
